Reading Room

I've had a few people ask me about what books to read to learn about investing. So, I've decided to list a few of my favorites. If you want to learn about investing and financial planning in general, than visit your local bookstore. They carry hundreds of titles that discuss basic financial topics. If you've done that and you want to learn about value investing in greater detail than here are a few titles to get you going;

1. The Intelligent Investor, B. Graham
2. Security Analysis, B. Graham, Classic 1934 version (only if you're really interested in value investing)
3. Margin of Safety, S. Klarman, ( this one is hard to find - sells on Ebay for $1000, but very good )
4. Common Stock, Uncommon Profits, P. Fisher
5. Dhando Investor, M. Pabrai
6. One Up On Wallstreet, P. Lynch
7. Value Investing, From Graham to Buffett and Beyond, B. Greenwald
8. The Essays of Warren Buffett, Lessons for Corporate America, L. Cunningham
9. The Uncommon Investor, B. Gallander

The Globe and Mail is interested in value investing as well,
